Jalal Taj-e Esfahani: was born 1903 in Esfahan.
At the age of ten he began to study vocal music by his father, Nayeb Asadollah, Habib Shater-Haji and Mirza-Hossein Sa’atsaz.
1923 he come to Tehran in order to perform a concert with Morteza Mahjubi’s ensemble for the prime minister. 1933 his first 78 rpm recordings through His Master’s Voice. 1938 he travelled to Aleppo and made some records by the Sodwa Record. 1940 he began collaborating the Radio Bisim in Tehran. 1949 collaborating with Radio Esfahan.
Man believe that the first recordings of Taj Esfahani was recorded by Polyphon.
He accompanied famous musicians like Abolhassan Saba, Arsalan Dargahi, Ali Akbar Shahnazi, Morteza Mahjubi, Hossein Yahghi, Hassan Kasayi and Jalil Shahnaz.
Taj passed away 1981.
