Reza-Gholi Mirza-Zelli famous as Zelli was born 1906.
Zelli is in any case one of the most skillful and concentrated singers in the history of Persian music. He studied Persian vocal music under the training of Abolhassan Eghbal and Aref Ghazvini, who is beside Sheyda one of the greatest Songwriter (tasnif composers) of Persian music.
Zelli made some records through Columbia with the legendary Setar and violin player Ostad Saba and Moshir-Homayun Shahrdar.
We don’t know exactly how many records from Zelli is documented and maintained but at least 9 of them are most known.
