The kamanche by Master Hemmati that I have recently purchased by santoori.com is an artistic, well made instrument. Once tuned it was ready to play without requiring any further adjustment.

The sound is even across all strings and the position of strings above the fingerboard provides fine playing action with good clarity. I am very satisfied with this Kamanche.

I bought a kamanche from www.santoori.com in January 2012 and I really fell in love with the instrument! Gorgeous sound and magnificent quality! Thanks to the sound samples on the website I could choose the instrument according to my vision, it helped me a lot in decision-making. The kamanche was sent from Iran for me so I was a little bit afraid about the way, but it was packed very well, so I was happy with it. It was also helpful for me that the owners of the shop were musicians at the same time and I could have some valuable advice when I needed. Many thanks, I can only recommend santoori.com shop!
